One of the projects that was presented in the Social Initiatives Forum 2019 was: “School instead of street – so that children have a future”. In August 2018, 18 young Germans and Kenyans helped to complete the first block of the “St. Augustine Primary School”. Walls were plastered, floor tiles laid and the building was completely painted. The project took place in Lodwar, Turkana County, in Kenya, where 500 students are beneficiaries of this amazing projects were young people help each other.
“School insted of street” has a duration of 3 weeks, in which young people live an experience of solidarity and exchange of cultures.
